Morning tunes = Brujeria
An interview in Thrasher got me looking into what Brujeria have produced of late. It's nice to see gang members exploring other genres of music. Hip hop has dominated as choice expression for pimps, pushers and murderers for decades, and death metal is most likely full of D&D playing beer drunks who are still virgins themselves, never mind ever having really sacrificed one. Except for the Black Metal guys over seas that kill each other's singers and burn down churches, they're fucking crazy. I don't know if the dudes from Brujeria really severed that head that was pictured in their album inlay or they just found him that way, but I have the slight suspicion they might just be for real. I was also wondering if since they've never revealed their true identities, could you steal their music rights? Might be a good idea if they weren't claiming to be murderous drug cartel.
